Trip Overview

A select group of A3 students will be accepted on a trip to the East African country of Tanzania. The itineraries will include museum trips, art demonstrations, dance performances, both rural and urban service learning, touring a major Tanzanian broadcasting network facility, a ferry excursion to Zanzibar Island, and even an overnight, chartered safari. The A3 group will spend multiple days engaging with Tanzanian students from various schools, an excellent opportunity to teach, share, and learn new dimensions of their select disciplines.

Tanzania will be an educational experience of a lifetime. The nation is rich in history, culture and biodiversity, boasting in the Serengeti Plains, Mount Kilimanjaro, the beaches of the Indian Ocean, the famous spice markets of the Zanzibar Archipelago, and the vibrant coastal city of Dae Es Salaam.

The students will be expected to help fund raise, a process they will spearhead under the guidance of the trip staff.
